Wisbech Park is becoming an even more vibrant and welcoming community space through the construction of a new state-of-the art community pavilion. This is a fantastic addition to Wisbech Park and complements the other facilities in the park, such as the Splash Pad and the enhanced children's play area.

The new building provides a versatile space, catering for the diverse needs of the community, with facilities for events and activities, such as community meetings, workshops and small-scale performances.

The pavilion building consists internally of a community room (for hire), an office (for hire) and a café, as well as a toilet, which is an accessible Changing Places toilet (designed to support the needs of all people with disabilities or mobility challenges). Externally, there are two public toilets.

Wisbech Town Council will be operating and managing the pavilion, as a tenant of Fenland District Council.

Wisbech Town Council is delighted to announce that, following a rigorous bidding process, Crazy Cow Catering Ltd has been granted a licence to operate the café element of Wisbech Park Pavilion. The café opened to the public on Tuesday 26 March.

In their bid to Wisbech Town Council for a licence to operate the café, Gemma, Joey, Summer and Danny of Crazy Cow Catering Ltd said: "We want to make the café the hub of the community and help make the park a better place within the community." Offering a wide range of hot and cold food and drinks, the opening hours will initially be 6 days a week (closed on Mondays), 8.00 am until 4.00 pm during the winter months and 8.00 am until 6.00 pm during the summer months.

The Mayor of Wisbech, Peter Human, said: "This marks a significant milestone in our shared commitment to fostering vibrant and inclusive community spaces, where residents can come together, connect, relax, and create lasting memories."

The community room is available to hire at a cost of £20 per hour. To make a booking, please:

2. Read the Layout Booklet to decide which layout suits your booking.

3. Complete the booking form and click SUBMIT.
